We empower your team with access to hosted servers, ensuring seamless collaboration for IT administrators, Managed Services Providers (MSPs), and resellers.

Maintain business continuity outside standard support hours with flexible after-hours access, ensuring your hosted instance is always within reach.

Active Software Maintenance & Support (M&S)

All hosted solutions require active M&S agreements, guaranteeing your software remains up-to-date and supported.

ecoprintQ responsibilities for ecoHosting

ecoHosting: A hosting service provided by ecoprintQ to maintain a customer’s PaperCut instance in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) private cloud.

  • The initial Server OS Version will be maintained during the hosting term. 
  • If a new server OS version is required by the end user, then a request must be made by the customer. The ecoprintQ team will review and schedule accordingly.
  • Maintenance to be scheduled with end-user at least 7 business days in advance.
  • Critical updates to be coordinated with end-user at least 2 days in advance.

Hosting Uptime:

  • Services uptime for hosted hardware and VPN availability.

ecoprintQ Backup Configuration Includes:

  • Server OS Snapshots
  • Application Database Backups
  • Application Files and Data

Database maintenance and availability

  • External Database availability provided by ecoprintQ.
  • Internal Database is to be managed by end-user as part of the application management.

ecoprintQ will enable and setup OS built in Firewall and Antivirus

ecoprintQ will keep hosted software applications up to date with pertinent critical software updates.

  • Critical security updates will be scheduled with end-user once the security patch is available and only if required.
  • Major application release upgrades will be reviewed with end-users and based upon business need, scheduled within an agreed timetable.
  • Application upgrades, if needed, will be provided at no additional charge.
  • If the end-user is using any embedded applications on MFD/Copiers or any computer clients, these components upgrades are the responsibility of the end user.
  • ecoprintQ can be contracted to perform this service at an additional cost.

ecoprintQ hosting services are managed through the AWS platform and includes a quoted specified amount of data transfer per month.

  • If your data transfer exceeds 150% of the data transfer limit purchased 3 months consecutively or 6 months of a 12-month period, then you will be required to get the upgraded package for your services to cover the new average monthly usage.
  • Customer will have 90 days to upgrade their package.
  • Noncompliance will result in a restriction of service and data transfer to only allow up to the allotted size.
  • The amount included in services is defined during the sales cycle.

ecoprintQ will be responsible for any issues with Site-to-Site VPN connections from the AWS side of the network only.

End-user Responsibilities for ecoHosting

  • Domain Integration & Security Management: We recommend joining the hosted server to your corporate Domain and ensuring it complies with your organization's IT security protocols and management practices.
  • Corporate Firewall and Anti-Virus software is the responsibility of the end-user.
  • All Print Drivers and Print Queues are the responsibility of the end-user.
  • Access to server is provided prior to installation dates so end-user and/or copier vendors can install required Print Queues
  • Application, Internal Database, Operating System for both troubleshooting and resolution are the responsibility of end-user.
  • Access provided to end-user via remote access to AWS Instance
  • Support from ecoprintQ will be provided via your normal support escalations channel. You may call in, email in or submit a ticket via our support service page. ecoprintQ will respond to your inquiry during our normal operating hours.
  • End-users will be responsible for all Site-to-Site VPN connections configured on their network routers and work with ecoprintQ as needed for troubleshooting issues if they are present on the AWS side.
